Um, yeah…

Here’s a bit of dialog that went on between ~kamijo and myself to explain this.

Kamijo: Why would you draw this?
Me: I dunno.

I was really just bored and wanted to do something random. A little known fact is that during the 1930s, Louis had his own cartoon called Steam Boat Louie. :XD:


It was a total flop. :|

If you can, imagine him in a constant awkward momentum. Y’know, like those creepy old black and white cartoons they had back in the day. :|

Ol’ Louie boy looks kinda cute with that little pout. :giggle:

Oh my ... you mean you thought of something like this too? I thought I was the only crazy one who would think of this stuff. :XD:

I really loved old cartoons ... I mean, they were the only things I really watched when I was a young 'un.

They give me a sort of creepy happy feeling when I watch them. :|

This does have a very 1930's style. Well all except the hair do. In this case his hair is ahead of it's time.

I still am wondering why you would draw this...but I'm glad you did! :XD: When you showed me I knew exaltedly what it was suppose to be, it's really awesome and soooo funny! and the title, genius! :heart: Ol' Louie still looks just as moody as ever!

Well thank you very much. Yes, I totally see what you mean ... to tell the truth, I was completely drawing a blank when it came to that because most of the cartoon characters didn't even have hair back then because, well ... they were animals. :moo:
